I'm going to write you all a little blog post today, even though it's Christmas Eve today (ok, I realise that sounds strange, but that's what we say in Norway, today is Julafta). Watching the traditional Christmas marathon on the telly now, they send the same programs every Christmas, but I love them all, and they bring forth so many wonderful feelings within me! They're a really important part of the Christmas traditions, even if you don't really watch it, but have it on in the background while decorating the Christmas tree and carrying in the presents and putting them under it. Going to open them after dinner tonight, I'm so excited!

Got Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë in my Christmas stocking this morning: thanks dad! And about 20 tiny chocolate Santas, and just as many little chocolate presents. We just ate the Christmas porridge, and now we're getting ready to go to Church, before we pick up my grandma on the way back, and have dinner together. The Christmas tree ended up looking really beautiful! Took me a good hour to decorate it. Going to upload some pics for you, so that you can all see. We always put ranks of Norwegian flags on the Christmas tree. Is that strange? I think it looks really pretty though, with the colours.
God jul!
